We at 'In The Mix Music' have been using Musical Stories as a teaching tool for over 20 years to engage beginner string players, as well as big group workshops in Infant and Primary schools. Using fun sound effects created on an instrument, we can tell an engaging story, to really inspire children to get creative. Once demonstrated, then its their turn. In short, Musical Stories are a fantastic way to spark a musical fire in children, when they haven't even held a violin or cello before.
